Burger's Lake

Last weekend we met our friends, The Rosenburgs, at Burger's Lake. It's a spring-fed lake that has several diving boards, slides and a trapeze. We'd been once before last summer, so it was fun to see how much the kids had grown in a year. Anson was much more active and loved jumping off the kiddie diving board. He's our little dare devil it seems. Genevieve was a little braver and jumped off a bigger diving board this year. She's not quite a thrill seeker yet like her brother, but knowing that she's like me, she probably won't ever be. We enjoyed a picnic lunch all together and Max and Genevieve had fun playing in the sand before heading home. Overall, it was a great day at the lake!
