Snow White

On Saturday Genevieve and I met Gracie and Denise to see the play Snow White. As usual it was a success! The girls enjoyed the show and getting all the characters autographs afterward. Genevieve said her favorite part was when they got married and everything else! We look forward to meeting our friends for the next play, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer in December!

Grandma Comes to Visit

Last weekend we had a special visitor...Grandma! We had been counting down til her visit and it was finally here! We had a lot of fun all weekend! Genevieve performed a puppet show for Grandma, with a little help from Anson. We read books with Grandma. We took Grandma to a cool park. We ate out with Grandma. We had a tea party with Grandma. We opened presents from Grandma. We were silly with Grandma. We went to another park with Grandma. We packed boxes for the move with Grandma. We ate ice cream sandwiches with Grandma. We loved every minute with Grandma! We were so happy to see Grandma, and can't wait til we see her again. The only thing missing was Monte! Thanks for coming to visit Grandma! We love and miss you!

Happy Birthday, Grammie!

Last weekend was Grammie's birthday! Friday morning when Genevieve woke up she was so excited to start the festivities. I had to remind her we weren't going to see Grammie until that night, but that we could work on a few projects for her throughout the day. So first thing, the kids helped bake a chocolate cake. Both kids helped measure, stir and lick the utensils. While the cake was baking we got out the paint for them to paint Grammie some pictures. Genevieve painted a birthday cake on one and birthday balloons on another. Anson just made a colorful masterpiece with all the colors:) That evening we went to dinner at Blue Mesa and then went back to my parents for cake and presents. It was a fun celebration!
