Girls Trip

Chelsey and I have been talking about going on a girls trip forever and finally were fortunate enough to make it happen! We headed down to Gruene, Texas for the weekend. We had so much fun! Friday afternoon we started by going tubing on the Comal River. The water was warm and clear, but there was a breeze and being that it was April, we were a little chilly at times. We still had fun just relaxing, people watching and chatting. Oh, and the shoots were a blast too! Afterwards we went to eat dinner at Gristmill River Restaurant. It was such a neat setting and delicious food! Saturday we began our day with breakfast at our B & B and then drove to the Farmers Market in nearby New Braunfels. Next we went to downtown Gruene for some shopping. There were so many cute and funky shops to explore. We enjoyed a yummy lunch at The River House Tea Room. The white sangria was divine! Then more shopping. Late that afternoon we needed a snack so we found a cupcake shop with tons of choices. We got two cupcakes each and we devoured them! That night for dinner we enjoyed some pizza. We ended the day with a dip in the hot tub. Sunday morning we had another scrumptious breakfast at the B & B. Before leaving Gruene we went and got a massage and pedicure. Both were an awesome way to end our time in Gruene. We got on the road to head home, but on the way stopped to do a little bit of shopping at the outlet malls. It was such a fun weekend with a wonderful friend! Love ya, Chelsey!
