Easter Parade

Easter afternoon we headed around the corner for our neighborhood Easter Parade. We had heard great things about it and it didn't disappoint. Our neighborhood is kind of know as an eclectic, fun-loving neighborhood. The neighborhood celebrations are always fun for everyone with their own, eccentric and a bit irreverent twists on holiday celebrations! Residents and participants included area veterinarians, district representatives, a mayoral candidate, our loyal Station #19 firefighters and so many more like SpongeBob and his entourage and even the Wild Things! The Easter Potty Float always leads off the parade followed closely by the super scary Nightmare before Easter Float and the Abominable Snowman dressed to kill! We all had a blast! Here's an article written about the parade in the local newspaper -
