Pancakes with Daddy

Ollie is spending this month in Austin doing a psych rotation. He comes home on the weekends. It has been hard without him, but we look forward to the weekends to spend some quality time together. Last Friday Ollie ended up getting home later than we'd hoped. Genevieve was happy that her daddy woke her up when he got home to give her a hug and kiss, but had to wait until Saturday morning to really have fun with him. She was really excited when Ollie told her that they were going to make pancakes for breakfast, being that that has become one of her favorite things to do with her dad. As is their tradition, they made one pancake that had a chocolate smiley face on it. Genevieve also really loves licking the batter out of the bowl, but the best part of the whole morning is spending time with her daddy!
