A Fun Weekend

Last weekend, Genevieve spent the weekend at my parents' house. Friday night we got a babysitter to watch Anson and were going to celebrate Charli's birthday at Cantino Laredo in Sundance Square. Unfortunately the babysitter canceled last minute so Anson went with us. Thankfully he's still little enough he just slept in his car seat most of the time. It was a lot of fun to get out of the house and see several of our med-school friends that, because of the kids or schedules, we don't see as often as we'd like. Everyone had to dress in black and white and the birthday girl dressed in red. We had a great time! Saturday night I got to have a girls night with Amanda and Kendi. The weather was so nice we wanted somewhere with a patio and to try something new. So we headed down to the Stockyards and ate at a local mexican food restaurant. We enjoyed hanging out as usual!
