Happy 6 Months, Anson!

Two weeks ago our little boy turned 6 months old! Wow, how time flies! He is such a blessing in our life and we couldn't imagine our world without him! I jokingly call him my "High Maintenance Baby" because he is definitely more demanding than Genevieve ever was as an infant. He never has been the best night sleeper and he doesn't like to be put down often, but he makes up for it by being a big cuddler and with his infectious smile. You may notice in the pictures below (taken on his 1/2 birthday) that Anson has a black eye. The night before, he fell off a bed at my parents house landing on the hardwood floor. He bruised it pretty badly and even gave himself a little gash on his eyelid. I ended up taking him to the E.R. with my dad to be better safe than sorry. Everything was alright in the end. Anson was a trooper! He only cried for a minute and the doctor said it looked fine, it was just superficial. I think it caused me more pain than anyone. I felt so guilty and was worried sick. Thankfully our little guy was just fine, just a little black and blue! Happy, Happy 1/2 Birthday, Anson! We love you!
