Gracie's 5th Birthday Party

Genevieve's best friend, Gracie, had her birthday party and of course we wouldn't have missed it! Last year Gracie had a princess party and then this year Genevieve wanted a princess party. Last year Genevieve had a gymnastics party and this year Gracie wanted a gymnastics party. They were so excited they both shared the same kind of parties. Those girls sure love each other and the pictures say it all! Happy Birthday, Gracie!

Bikes and Donuts

One Saturday the fam decided to start the day with a bike ride. We cruised over to the neighborhood donut shop for a special treat. The kids loved picking out their chocolate donut with sprinkles (they have their mother's taste!) and gobbling it up. It was another great morning together!

Genevieve's Swimming Lessons

We also enrolled Genevieve in swimming lessons. This is her fourth summer taking classes and something she looks forward to every year. Her class focused on floating, kicking, breathing and other swimming skills. She really is a natural in the water and a great example for Anson. She absolutely loves being in the pool and I credit swim lessons for that! We're so proud of our big girl!

Anson's Swimming Lessons

It's summer time again, which means, time for swimming lessons! Anson and I enrolled in a mommy/toddler swim class. It took him a little while to warm up, but once he did, he really got into it. He especially loved the songs and toys they used to make the class so much fun! It was a two week class and by the end, he was a little fish! We're so proud of our big boy!
