Moose Love

Ever since having kids I feel bad for our dog Moose. The poor guy has gotten bumped down the totem pole around here. Even though he isn't top dog anymore, he's still loved like no other!

Puzzle Time

One day the kids wanted to do puzzles and it became hours of puzzle time. They did them first thing in the morning, then after they ate breakfast and got dressed, then after lunch and then after naps. I think they did about twenty different puzzles throughout the entire day. It was puzzle madness!

Anson's 1st Haircut

I knew it was finally time to take Anson for a haircut when people kept confusing him for a girl. I had put it off for so long because I loved his curls in back and didn't want to lose them. Anson was pretty excited to get his haircut since his big sister had enthusiastically told him all about it on the car ride there. Walking in the door it was already a big hit when there was a train set to play with in the waiting area. Then when it was Anson's turn he was happy to get to sit in a car and watch a show. The little guy did great and looked handsome afterwards. And an added bonus was he got to keep his curls, but it's no longer in his eyes.

Genevieve's Haircut

We took the kids to get haircuts, but mainly to get Anson's first haircut. At Genevieve's first haircut I didn't blog at the time so I decided I needed some pics of her cutting her hair too. We had Genevieve go first so Anson could watch his big sister and know what to expect when it was his turn. The place we go is just for kids and Genevieve loves getting her haircut! She gets so excited to pick out a show to watch during her cut and then afterwards she is happy to choose a lollipop.

Bathtub Madness

So I just had to post this pic because I thought it was hysterical. First off it was Genevieve's first time wearing a shower cap and I think she looks so cute and silly at the same time. And then there is Anson smiling like a little cheese with his long shaggy hair in the back. So funny!

Seuss-ology 101

Anson and I met our moms group at Seuss-ology 101 - A Tribute to Dr. Suess. It was a fun show that featured the sister of Dr. Seuss’s famous hat-wearing-cat. The show was based on the Dr. Seuss books and had magic, music and puppets. Some of the show was a little too old for Anson, but he still enjoyed it for the most part. Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Wizard of Oz

Anson and I met our friends Elliott and Chelsey to see the children's production of Wizard of Oz at the Artisan Theater. The kids enjoyed it and Anson even got to participate in one part on stage. He liked it for a minute or two then ran back to mommy's arms. Overall though we had a nice time seeing the show with our friends.
